Disaster relief cash cards for Borel Fire victims

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Some $75,000 in disaster relief is being made available to survivors of the Borel Fire.

The California Fire Foundation will provide disaster relief cash cards August 10 through 13.

Fire officials host Borel Fire community meeting in Lake Isabella

Each card is worth $250 and the fire foundation plans to distribute 300 cards at the Kern River Valley Senior Center in Lake Isabella to those affected by the Borel Fire.

Victims of the fire do not need to fill out an application beforehand, but they will need to answer questions when they arrive at the senior center.
