BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – For one day only, you can buy a ticket to the Kern County Fair for just $9.
On Friday, Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., a flash sale cuts ticket prices from $15 to just $9 — good for any day at the fair. Admission allows entry to the free concerts at the Budweiser Pavilion.
This year’s fair, themed “Discover the Magic,” runs from Sept. 18 through Sept. 29.

To buy the discounted tickets, visit the Kern County Fair website and click on Buy Tickets in the top right corner of the page . After 10 p.m., tickets will be available at regular price.
You can expect to eat all sorts of sweet treats or eat up some fried favorites. Musical performers including Josh Turner, Lupillo Rivera and E-40 are all set to perform at the Budweiser Pavilion. Find a schedule of concerts here.
