BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The restaurant and entertainment center The BLVD is teaming up with Bakersfield US Foods and hosting a backpack giveaway Friday for Kern County students.
Organizers say 300 backpacks with school supplies will be given away to local students at The BLVD on Aug. 9.
New art show focuses on the connection between humans and animals
The giveaway is scheduled at 11 a.m. and it will be open as long as supplies last.
The BLVD is located at 3200 Buck Owens Blvd.
