BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man who was found dead earlier this year in June on Edison Highway has been identified.
On June 14, Shawn Eugene Jones, a 40-year-old man from Bakersfield, was found dead in the 12300 block of Edison Highway, according to the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
Deputies discovered Jones with multiple gunshot wounds at about 9:48 p.m. After a postmortem investigation, the coroner’s office ruled the manner of death a homicide.
