Legendary hardcore punk pioneers Black Flag is set to perform their iconic first four albums at the Nile Theater on Jan. 26.

Black Flag is considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands and leaders of the post-hardcore music scene. The group is set to perform their first iconic studio albums: Damaged , My War , Family Man and Slip It In .

The group was formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach. Black Flag became a symbol for anarchism and the do-it-yourself ethic influencing countless of bands.

However, Henry Rollins won’t be making an appearance.

The band’s current lineup consists of primary songwriter, guitarist and sole continuous member Greg Ginn. Joining Ginn will be Charles Wiley on drums, Matt Baxter on bass and legendary pro skateboarder and musician Mike Vallely on lead vocals.
