2 wanted in connection to vehicle burglary, stolen credit cards: BPD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police are asking for help identifying two men who allegedly broke into a vehicle and stole a purse and credit cards while the victim shopped at Costco, according to the department.

One of the men stole the victim’s purse from her vehicle while she shopped at the Costco on Rosedale Highway at about 3:20 p.m. on June 9. A short time later, he and another man were captured on video surveillance using the stolen cards at a separate business.

BPD released photos and descriptions of the two men Thursday.

According to investigators, the first man is described as heavyset with black hair styled in a combover. He was last seen on surveillance footage wearing a lighter blue polo shirt with a navy collar, black pants and black shoes.

Police described the second man as heavyset with short black hair, wearing a two-tone hat. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jean shorts and black Nike athletic shoes.
