BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The City of Bakersfield is set to host a job fair for several positions later this month.
Shayla Collins, the city’s HR Manager, joined 17 News at Noon to discuss the job fair.

Collins said the city is looking to fill several jobs ranging from any experience level and degree.
There will be representatives for safety positions, the police department, the fire department and entry-level facility workers. There will be a total of 14 departments at the job fair.

The job fair is set for Aug. 30 at the Mechanics Bank Arena from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no reservation needed.
