A possible deal delayed the Thursday hearing in Kern County Superior Court for a man suspected of shooting and killing a 10-year-old girl in Arvin in 2021. Jesus Everado Rodriguez Haros, 20, is charged with one count of first-degree murder, four counts of attempted murder, two counts of shooting at an occupied car and one count of participation in a street gang.
