August 24, 2024 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at approximately 3:00 pm, deputies from the Lamont Substation response area located and arrested Jesus Campana, a 35-year-old male from Lamont, on an active felony arrest warrant in the 7900 Alden Street in Lamont. A search warrant was served at Campana’s residence. During the service of the search warrant, Lamont deputies located over two pounds of a suspected controlled substance, a loaded firearm and evidence of drug sales including large sums of US currency.
