BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Hoffmann Hospice, Brookdale Riverwalk Senior Community, and the Wounded Heroes Fund will host a Veteran Pinning Ceremony to honor 50 veteran residents at Brookdale Riverwalk.
The ceremony is set for Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, at 3 p.m. at 350 Calloway Dr., Bakersfield, CA 93309.

During the ceremony, each veteran will receive a pin, a handshake, a salute, and a heartfelt thank you for their service to our country.

In addition, veteran wives will be acknowledged with a flower to recognize their role in supporting their loved ones.
Hoffmann Hospice, a local organization, is one of the few hospice agencies in California to earn 5-star recognition from the We Honor Veterans Program. This program aims to address the unique needs of America’s Veterans and their families, ensuring they receive compassionate care and support.
