Crab Fest benefiting Bakersfield’s Firefighter Museum coming to downtown

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Crab Fest is back and better than ever, benefiting the Bakersfield’s Firefighter Museum.

Bakersfield Fire Department Captain Jason Johnson, President of the Bakersfield Firefighter’s Historical Society joined 17 News with more details on Crab Fest.

The mission of the Bakersfield Firefighters Historical Society is to restore and preserve historic fire engines and equipment, share the rich history of the Bakersfield Fire Department with the community, and educate the public on fire safety through a dedicated museum and educational center.
