Cool off at the 16th annual ‘Ice Cream Zoofari’ at CALM Sept. 7

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — National Wildlife Day is on September 4 and what other better way to celebrate wildlife than joining the California Living Museum for their 16 annual “Ice Cream Zoofari” celebration.

CALM invites guests to indulge in a frozen extravaganza. Attendees can build their own ice cream sundaes, enjoy root beer floats, and savor a variety of other frozen treats on September 7, according to volunteer and community engagement facilitator for CALM, Elizabeth Graff.

Meadows Field Airport expands early morning flights

To prepare for this sweet celebration, the zoo will close early at 1:30 p.m. and reopen from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. next Saturday.

Admission for CALM members is $10 for adults and $8 for children (3-12 years). For non-members, admission is $15 for adults and $12 for children (3-12 years).
