BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Former Kern County supervisor Zack Scrivner is back out in public, but he doesn’t want to talk about the allegations against him or the health reasons that prompted him to resign from office.
17’s Jenny Huh attempted to talk with the former supervisor Wednesday evening as he was making his way to class.
Huh: “Hi, Mr. Scrivner, Jenny with Channel 17 here, how are you sir? I just have a very few quick questions. Where have you been, supervisor?”
Scrivner: “Under the advice of counsel, due to the advice of counsel, I’m not going to comment.”
Huh: “May I ask if the allegations of child sexual assault are true?”
Scrivner: “I’m not going to comment. I’m not going to comment.”
Huh: “Okay, are you receiving special treatment, Mr. Scrivner?”
Scrivner didn’t provide an answer to the last question.

Scrivner is taking a class on public policy and administration at Cal State University, Bakersfield. The course description states students will learn to evaluate government programs.
