BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A large police presence is seen outside of a residence in the Oildale area Thursday afternoon.
Several Kern County Sheriff’s deputies can be seen at the scene and the area is taped off.
According to the app Pulsepoint, a call for a medical emergency went out just after 4:15 p.m. on Olympic Drive.
A notification was sent out to parents from Highland Elementary School that the school is currently on lockdown.
