Motorcyclists gather outside Kern Medical in support of Rose Jamie

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bikers from around the state visited Bakersfield Wednesday night, to show support for fellow rider Rose Jamie, who remains hospitalized following a collision on Highway 99 last Sunday.

Jamie recorded the crash on her social media page and the video shows where she slammed into the back of a car that pulled in front of her.

Dozens of motorcycle riders gathered outside Jamie’s room at Kern Medical, singing and praying for her continued recovery. Jamie, whose arm appears to be in a cast, blew kisses to her supporters and friends below.

James Velandria with Warriors Motorcycle Club Fresno Chapter, made the trip all the way from Fresno.

“She travels everywhere, we’ve met her in Northern California, Southern California … Here in Bakersfield, in Fresno,” said Velandria. “We see her everywhere and she’s just an all around awesome, awesome woman of God.”
