Woman found unresponsive in vehicle died from heat-related illness: Coroner

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A 36-year-old woman who was found unresponsive inside a vehicle on June 6 in southwest Bakersfield has been identified. Marche Antoinette Shine, 36, of Bakersfield was found inside a vehicle in the 1400 block of McDonald Way, north of Ming Avenue by Kern County deputies, said the Kern County Coroner’s Office. She was taken to Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:38 p.m.
