1 arrested, pounds of suspected meth found in Ridgecrest home: police

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Ridgecrest police officers conducted a traffic stop on Thursday that led to many suspected narcotics seized from the driver’s home.

The Ridgecrest Police Department arrested 48-year-old Jana Mcnatt on Sept. 19 after conducting a traffic stop in the 700 block of W. Inyokern Road. Police said Mcnatt was driving under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a controlled substance.

Officers obtained a search warrant for Mcnatt’s residence and seized 2 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, 3.3 ounces of suspected fentanyl, 3 digital scales, a 20-gauge shotgun with ammunition and $1,518.42 in U.S. currency from the house.

Police also said Mcnatt was allegedly operating or maintaining a drug house, felon in possession of a firearm, selling and distributing illegal drugs, and a prohibited person in possession of ammunition.
