BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Fire Department Arson Unit is investigating a garage fire on Flower Street Thursday afternoon.
Bakersfield fire officials told 17 News the fire was reported around 11:30 a.m. at a house in the 1500 block of Flower Street.

The fire spread to the house, according to fire officials. The garage was fully involved in the fire and is a total loss and there was minor damage to the home.
A battalion chief told 17 News nobody was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

The arson unit will begin its investigation.
