Man shot and killed on Panama St: Bakersfield PD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Bakersfield police responded to reports of a shooting victim Friday afternoon and confirmed a man died on scene.

Around 1:50 p.m., the Bakersfield Police Department and medical responders were on the scene of a man who was shot and killed by an unknown suspect at a residence near the intersection of Panama and 30th streets.

Shell casings were found in the roadway and homicide detectives are actively investigating the shooting. Police say there is no suspect description at this time.
