‘Streets of Bakersfield Show’ raises money for veterans

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The 7th Annual “Streets of Bakersfield Show” will be cruising through town this weekend for a good cause.

An “Open Header” Cruise Night is happening Friday evening, with the car show on Saturday. While the event is meant to entertain and display a beautiful array of vehicles, the organizers of the event are dedicated to supporting local charities.

All proceeds from this “Cruizin’ for Charity” event will go to the Portrait of a Warrior Gallery, benefiting “Guitars 4 Vets”, a free program designed to support and heal through music for individuals who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
