BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of assault and weapons charges after a shooting at Liberty Park on Brimhall Road on Saturday, according to police.
Officials with the Bakersfield Police Department said officers were dispatched to Liberty Park for a report of a shooting on Saturday at about 11:20 p.m.
Upon officer arrival, two adults were found wounded by gunfire. Police say, the extent of their injuries was minor and they were uncooperative with officers at the time of the incident.
Investigation led to the arrest of two teenagers, who were students at Stockdale High School, according to police.
