18-year-old makes first court appearance in SE Bakersfield homicide

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — An 18-year-old man charged with murder in a deadly shooting in southeast Bakersfield made his first appearance Monday.

Lance Burnett had not guilty pleas entered on his behalf and a preliminary hearing set for Jan. 30. He’s being held without bail.

Burnett and 13-year-old co-defendant Dylan Fermin Flores are accused in the shooting death of a man Oct. 27 in the area of South Washington Street and East Belle Terrace. Flores had a hearing Monday in juvenile court.
