BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the alleged theft of the Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary trailer, which is used for the Thousand Flags event at the Park at Riverwalk.
Organizers say the trailer was allegedly stolen from a home near Belle Terrace over the past weekend. The trailer stored all of the flags and equipment used in the Thousand Flags ceremony.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they are investigating this case.
Organizers told 17 News $2,000 is being offered as a reward for leading the sheriff’s office to the location of the trailer and the person who allegedly stole it.
