BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A group of students at Arvin High School staged a walkout at the end of lunch today, school officials said.
The walkout was meant to protest the recent ICE raids and deportations through-out California. The demonstration was organized by students, and the school implemented protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of participants.
