BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Vernon Clark, an agricultural teacher at Foothill High School, has been recognized as a finalist for the Ag Educator of the Year award. The selection process, which spanned nearly six months and collected nominations statewide, highlighted Clark for his dedication to students, innovative teaching methods, and significant impact.
Clark has been praised for encouraging students to step outside their comfort zones and explore opportunities in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) program.
