These Kern County school districts are delayed today due to weather

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Snow and ice has prompted several school districts to delay the start of classes on Tuesday, March 18.

March storms help put a dent in the drought status of Kern County

See below for a list of the delays for Kern County school districts.

  • Peak to Peak Mountain Charter – snow and/or ice delay – 2 hours
  • El Tejon Unified School District – snow and/or ice delay – 2 hours
  • Mojave Unified School District – snow and/or ice delay – 2 hours
  • Tehachapi Unified School District – snow and/or ice delay – 2 hours
