BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A woman was sentenced to a year in jail Thursday for a vehicle crash last year that resulted in injuries and in which she drove with a blood-alcohol content more than three times the legal limit, according to court records.
Daisy Gonzalez pleaded no contest in January to two felony drunken driving counts. Prosecutors have said she also faced three years’ felony probation and must pay restitution, receive mental health treatment and attend a one-year substance abuse program.
Gonzalez after the crash provided a breath sample that registered her BAC at 0.27%, according to a court filing. The legal limit is 0.08%…
