BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has determined the cause of death of a big rig driver who crashed into the California Aqueduct on Dec. 22, 2024 as a drowning.
According to coroner officials, Raul Cibrian Navarro, 32, of Calexico, Calif., was the driver of a semi-truck that left the roadway and crashed into the aqueduct on Interstate 5.
