BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed after he was struck by a vehicle on Weedpatch Highway as 31-year-old Maxwell Donovan Johnson of Bakersfield.
The California Highway Patrol said on March 21, 2025, at around 5:51 a.m., officers were called to Weedpatch Highway, south of Highway 58 for a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.
