Hwy 58 to close overnight on Monday, along with ramp, road on Tuesday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) – Highway 58 and other parts of the roads will close for two construction projects next week, according to the city of Bakersfield.

Alternating lanes will close on eastbound Highway 58 above Highway 99 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on March 31 as crews remove striping, according to officials with the city of Bakersfield.

The Ming Avenue to northbound Highway 99 on-ramp and southbound Wible Road between Brundage Lane and Belle Terrace will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on April 1. The closure will be in effect as crews backfill a new bridge column, officials said.
