BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A man who robbed a Big Lots store in September 2024 and used mace on two people has been sentenced to five years in prison, according to the Kern County Superior Court.
Victor Perez was convicted on February 25 of second-degree robbery, using tear gas on two victims, resisting arrest, and providing a false name to a peace officer. The court also noted Perez’s numerous prior misdemeanor convictions.
