A law enforcement officer was killed in an apparent shootout reportedly involving escaped inmate Cesar Hernandez, according to several Mexican news organizations.
The incident occurred during an operation to arrest Hernandez near Tijuana, where Commander Abigail Reyes of the FESC was shot and killed. Hernandez managed to escape from the scene, and his whereabouts remain unknown…
