BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two men arrested after a vehicle pursuit in east Bakersfield resulted in an officer-involved shooting — but no injuries — were sentenced on Wednesday.
Raul Candido, 25, the driver of the stolen pickup that deputies chased, was sentenced to a year in jail and two years’ probation, according to court records. He pleaded no contest last month to recklessly evading a peace officer, vehicle theft and possession of a hard drug with two priors, according to court records.
