According to data, the unemployment rate in Kern County in March was 9.5% — a 0.2% increase from the 9.3% in February and 0.5% higher than in January.
However, the unemployment rate for this March is slightly lower than March 2024, which was 9.7%, showing a slight improvement from last year.
