BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Another building goes up in flames in Bakersfield, but this time, it’s on Easter Sunday.
The fire happened just after 4 a.m. on Easter morning. It took three fire engines, two trucks and two battalions to keep the flames from spreading to the motel next door. No injuries were reported, but this isn’t the first incident at the motel that’s been shut down and boarded up for health code violations.
