BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A 39-year-old inmate who shot at a law enforcement officer in 2006 in Los Angeles was denied parole last week by the California Board of Parole Hearings (BPH), announced the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.
The BPH determined on April 15, 2025, that Tony Wilson continued to pose a current and unreasonable risk to public safety.
On April 6, 2006, an officer in Los Angeles County responded to a robbery and encountered Wilson firing a handgun. The officer observed Wilson holding a handgun in both hands and firing three more rounds at him before fleeing into an apartment complex associated with the Crenshaw Mafia Gangster (“CMG”) gang.
