CASA’S Derby Party set for May 3, aims to support foster children in Kern County

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — CASA of Kern County’s Derby Party is set to return on Saturday, where the community can attend while wearing Derby-inspired outfits and stylish hats.

The Kentucky Derby-themed event is scheduled for May 3 at Gardiner Ranch in Bakersfield.

The event will provide several activities including a live race coverage, a meal by Chef Lino, crafted drinks, live entertainment, silent auction, raffles and prizes, according to organizers.
