Man arrested in deadly hit-and-run crash on Westside Parkway has multiple DUI convictions

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A 51-year-old man who has twice been sentenced to prison for injuring people while driving drunk was arrested over the weekend in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash on the Westside Parkway, police said.

Tomice Lee Fryman Jr. is being held on more than $500,000 bail and is due in court Tuesday, booking records show.

He was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run causing death and driving on a license suspended or revoked for DUI. Booking records don’t list DUI-related offenses for the current incident…
