2 small dogs hiding under bed in house fire rescued: KCFD

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Just before Kern County firefighters entered the smoke-filled mobile home Saturday morning, they were told by neighbors there may be a person trapped inside.

But after checking every corner of the home, firefighters found there was no one there — except two tiny and frightened dogs taking cover under a bed.

Two dogs were rescued from a fire that damaged a home in Bodfish, according to the Kern County Fire Department.
