Accused driver charged with murder in Westside Parkway crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The 51-year-old man arrested after a crash over the weekend left body parts strewn along the Westside Parkway has been charged with murder and other crimes.

Tomice Lee Fryman Jr. was arraigned in court Tuesday on charges of second-degree murder, vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, hit-and-run causing death and driving on a license suspended or revoked for drunken driving, according to court records.

A deputy public defender entered not guilty pleas to all counts. Judge Chad Louie ordered Fryman held without bail. He’s due back in court May 14…
