Dozens of California breweries have received global recognition, with some of their products being named the best in the world.
Kern River Brewing Co. won a silver medal for Side Hike, a Strong Red Ale. The winning beer for the Kernville brewery was categorized in the Strong Red Ale category. The 2025 World Beer Cup, an international competition organized by the not-for-profit Brewers Association, took place this past week in Indianapolis.
