Suspect arraigned in 2014 cold case homicide

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The suspect in the 2014 beating death of a man whose body was found outside the downtown Bakersfield courthouse was arraigned Monday on a charge of first-degree murder.

A plea of not guilty was entered by a deputy public defender on behalf of 47-year-old Jeremy Daniel Cruzen. He remains in custody without bail; a preliminary hearing is scheduled May 22.
