A Taft woman was the victim of a fatal head-on collision between an SUV and a Kenworth tractor-trailer on Highway 119 near Tupman Road Tuesday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the 38-year-old woman, who name has not been released, was westbound on the highway just east of Tupman Road in a 2014 Ford Explorer.
“For reasons unknown, the driver of the Ford veered to the left into the eastbound lane, directly into the path of the Kenworth,” the CHP said in a news release…
