BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Nearly a month after notifying homeowners of a proposed 297% increase in sewer rates, the Bakersfield City Council has voted to rescind the proposition.
The decision followed a recommendation from City Manager Christian Clegg, who suggested the city take additional time to explore solutions.
