BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — An unplanned power outage left more than 2,000 residents in northwest Bakersfield without electricity on Friday evening. According to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), the outage was reported at 7:35 p.m. on May 16, 2025, affecting 2,393 customers.
