Kern River Valley library to reopen with grand ceremony on June 4

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Kern River Valley community is set to celebrate the reopening of its neighborhood library with a grand ceremony on Wednesday, June 4.

The library closure started last year in October, when it received a library grant from the state. The grant was used to renovate the library.

The grand opening will kick off with a press conference at 10:30 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m…
