Bail granted to driver in fatal Westside Parkway crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A Superior Court judge granted bail on Tuesday to the man charged with murder in the crash that killed a pedestrian on the Westside Parkway.

Judge John W. Lua set bail at $250,000 for Tomice Lee Fryman Jr. He’d previously been held without bail.

It’s likely the 51-year-old Fryman will remain in custody. His attorney, Tony Lidgett, told the court bail would have to be under $100,000 for Fryman’s family to afford it…
