BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Coroner’s Office identified a man who was killed in a drunk driving crash while crossing East California Avenue.
Anthony Gregory Martinez, 34, of Bakersfield, was walking in the 700 block of East California Avenue, east of Baker Street, at 8:53 p.m. May 9 when he was struck by two vehicles.

Martinez was taken to Kern Medical where he was pronounced dead at 9:27 p.m., the coroner’s office said.
