BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET)– The Bakersfield Police Department is warning residents of an ongoing scam targeting elderly.
Scammers are now posing as couriers; members of organizations will either drop off or pick up goods. This scam is an in-person scam which makes victims feel pressured to give scammers cash or valuables.
