BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accused of transporting 231 pounds of methamphetamine found during a traffic stop in Bakersfield has pleaded no contest to a felony charge in exchange for a split sentence, prosecutors said.
Adolfo Moreno-Ramirez will be sentenced to two years in custody and five years of mandatory supervision by the probation department, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
He pleaded no contest Wednesday to transporting drugs, court records show, and a charge of drug possession for sales was dismissed.
